Smoothing the way

Just one person CAN make a difference.

Not only is he OUT but now Sgt. Chuck is in the news and working with the Soldier's Angels on Project Valour IT, in memory of his father, SFC William V. Ziegenfuss. They want to provided voice-controlled software and laptop computers to wounded Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines recovering from hand and arm injuries or amputations at major military medical centers. ...seeking the stories of injured Army National Guard and Reserve soldiers who have separated from the service but have unpaid Department of Defense (DOD) debts that are being referred to credit bureaus and collection agencies.These service members, and their stories, are being sought as part of a GAO audit of pay problems impacting soldiers who were wounded in action. GAO is particularly interested in learning about debts that resulted from pay problems and whether these debts are inaccurate.... Both organizations are also interested in hearing from soldiers about the challenges these debts pose in their transition back to civilian life.
