Note on Milblogs
This was a smile. I wrote to thank her for being so good to the mate while he was on base:It was my pleasure to escort your husband, no doubt - he is very kind and special.
You should have seen the smile on his face as he met Jewel’s litter. If only I would have had a camera!! I am sure that it will be a memory that he and she will remember forever.

We have had no word yet today. Mate may leave to come home tomorrow.
I know at least one other blog is following a wounded soldier. They are at Walter Reed. His link is : http://tcoverride.blogspot.com/
Milblogs now REALLY censored
Now the military has decided that our soldiers have to register their blogs with their CO's. This effectively removes the anominity that blogging give to all of us. Many of them are just closing their blogs. See this article for more comments.
They can still send email and IM's. Those could be posted to civilian sites.....sort of milblog ghosts or ghost soldier writers.
Pass the idea around.
(Stupid me! Lost lots of links as I didn't have them backed up before I hit the button. Curses, Blogger, you have foiled me again!)
I want to say I appreciate all the comments and even the silence from the almost 200 visitors in the last two days. It's great of you to stop in.
